Molly
You were created for connection. And when those connections feel broken, strained, or out of reach — it can be one of the most disorienting experiences of your life.
I’m Molly Olson, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I work with parents, couples, and individuals who are navigating the hard, tender work of healing their most important relationships. Whether you’re struggling to connect with your child, feeling disconnected from your partner, or carrying wounds from your past that keep showing up in your present — you don’t have to figure it out alone.
My Story
Throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep passion for relational healing — and it hasn’t come from a distance. I’ve sat with people in the middle of real pain: the shame that follows a blow-up with your kid, the quiet grief of a marriage that’s lost its footing, the confusion of not understanding why you keep reacting the way you do.
I’ve witnessed what’s possible when people choose to do the hard, courageous work of healing. I’ve also learned that wholeness doesn’t always look the way we expect — sometimes it’s restoration, and sometimes it’s learning to grieve what was lost and move forward with grace.
My practice is grounded in the belief that we are whole people — mind, body, and spirit — and that lasting healing honors all three. I approach this work with deep respect for each person’s faith, values, and unique story.
My Approach
I specialize in evidence-based, relationally focused therapies that go beyond surface-level coping — because you deserve more than just getting by.
For parents and families, I offer Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), a research-supported approach that helps you build a secure, connected relationship with your child while developing practical strategies for behavior and discipline. You’ll leave sessions with tools you can actually use — and a relationship you’re proud of.
For couples, I draw from Relational Life Therapy (RLT), developed by Terry Real, to help partners move out of cycles of conflict and disconnection and into a relationship marked by honesty, accountability, and genuine intimacy.
For individuals, I integrate trauma-informed care with a deep understanding of how our biology, thoughts, and nervous systems shape our emotional lives. Drawing from Polyvagal Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I help clients develop emotional awareness, regulate their nervous systems, and build a life that reflects who they truly want to be.
At The Woven Family, every thread of your story matters. I’m honored to walk alongside you as you find your way toward healing, wholeness, and deeper connection.
